Shown above is one of our customer's children before and after treatment at the Laser Allergy Group. Named Tristan, he started developing skin rashes at an early age. Here, his mother tells the story of all the unsuccessful treatments she tried that led her to LAG:

As a mom, you want nothing but the best for your children. You want to protect them, love them and do what’s best for them; but what happens when, as a new mom, you have a child who is experiencing something that you have no knowledge in? My advice: Never give up!!

When my son turned 8 months old, he started to develop a “rash” around his mouth. I wasn’t sure what the cause was. My first thought was that the nipples on his bottles were causing irritation, but then I started thinking he had been on the same bottles for 8 months, why now? I took him to his pediatrician one day and voiced my concern about the spot, and was told it was probably just a form of eczema, steroid cream would clear it right up. So out came the paper I would be seeing a lot of in the near future….the prescription pad. Steroids cleared up the spot, but only for a day or so. After being treated with the cream the spot would come back even worse, as if the steroid was feeding this monster that would soon take over my son’s entire body. I took it upon myself to consult with a dermatologist to see what he could do for my son. They prescribed antibiotics, creams, steroids, special soaps, the list goes on.
